Projects & Merchandiser Role at Bunnings - Car and license required

In this dual role, you will work across multiple Bunnings Warehouse locations, contributing to both project completion and product merchandising. As part of a projects team, you'll execute small and large-scale tasks, including shelf movements, completing planograms, and following specific instructions to ensure high-quality outcomes. A flexible approach is required, with the possibility of traveling throughout the region and overnight stays in certain areas.
In addition to the project's aspect, you'll take ownership of merchandising within your allocated territory. You'll be responsible for managing a large range of hardware products, building strong relationships with store team members, and maximizing sales opportunities. Key tasks include inventory management, executing planograms, implementing off-location displays, range checking, ensuring product presentation is excellent, updating pricing labels, and placing point-of-sale materials as needed.
This is a task-driven role that demands attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Coverage of stores within a defined territory to a pre-determined schedule as communicated in advance by the Team Leader
Availability to work hours as required to ensure all projects are completed on time and in full by deadline. Work will usually commence at 8am and conclude prior to 6pm, Monday to Friday inclusive
Execution of tasks as directed by the Team Leader daily, dependant on the work being executed
Building Dexion shelving and product relocation within the store
Execution of planograms to achieve compliance with the Bunnings standard
Location of stock and fixtures within the store, including Goods Inwards and bulk storage locations, to ensure bays are constructed to standard and shelves are stocked with all available stock at the completion of the relay
Building and maintaining strong relationships with store personnel
Adherence to all Bunnings and Crossmark standards for safe work as outlined in the Safe Work Method Statement (SWMS)

Requirements
Over 18 years of age with full Australian working rights
Current state drivers licence and reliable vehicle
Physically fit and able to bend and lift
Bunnings Contractor Induction
IRIA Bunnings Racking Accreditation desirable although not essential
