Operational Assistant

This role offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic work environment.

We are seeking an individual who is enthusiastic and eager to learn, with excellent communication skills and a strong attention to detail.
\
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting daily operations, ensuring company objectives and deadlines are met effectively.
\
Responsibilities include:
\
- Assisting and backing up operators in all aspects of the operation
\
- Helping with the servicing and maintenance of equipment
\
- Taking initiative in your own professional development within the company
\
- Daily inspection of crew (vehicle), servicing of equipment, housekeeping of the caravan and location
\
- Performing all assigned tasks with a high degree of accuracy and diligence
\
- Ensuring that all recorded and reported data is accurate and current
\
- Effectively communicating with customers
\
- Reporting all near misses and hazardous situations to the operator/supervisor
\
- Assisting in the JHA program
\
- Developing skills needed to be familiar with Quality Management
\
Qualifications
\
- Current HR truck license
\
- Current First Aid Certificate
\
- Crane license preferred but not essential
\
- Basic computer skills preferred but not essential
