About the Australian Copyright Council
The Australian Copyright Council is a small independent, not-for-profit, community legal service representing the peak bodies for professional artists and content creators working in Australia's creative industries. We work to promote understanding of copyright law and its application, fostering collaboration between content creators and users and advocating for the protection creator interests.We provide legal advice, deliver webinars and training, and develop publications and work to advocate for creator interests.
The job
We are looking for an adaptable and motivated person to work one day a week in a marketing and administrative support role with our small team.
Who you are
You are Sydney-based and at university in your second or third year of a marketing, media/communications, design or even law degree You know how to use the Microsoft Office suite, and understand social media marketing platforms such as Mailchimp, Hootsuite and Google Analytics. You enjoy writing and are a collaborative, hands-on team player, happy to work autonomously and flexibly in a small, pet friendly office.
