Business Development Manager – QLD / NSW Healthcare | Strategic Growth | Executive Engagement An established and growing healthcare solutions organisation is seeking a commercially driven Business Development Manager to lead strategic growth across Queensland and NSW. It is a senior, growth-focused position responsible for shaping projects early, influencing specification, expanding share of wallet and building long-term executive partnerships across major healthcare networks. The Role Reporting to the General Manager, you will act as a senior commercial representative across major public and private healthcare networks, including Hospital and Health Services, private hospital groups and aged care providers. Your focus will be sustainable revenue growth through: Strategic account expansion Early and mid-stage project influence Executive relationship cultivation Structured pipeline management Cross-portfolio growth within existing accounts Expansion into aged care, SME medical providers and emerging market segments You will position the organisation as a long-term strategic partner — not simply a supplier. Key Responsibilities Strategic Business Development Develop and execute growth strategies for designated key accounts Identify capital works, refurbishments, service expansions and funding allocations early Lead specification discussions to position solutions as preferred standards Build relationships with CEOs, CFOs, Executive Directors, Directors of Nursing, ICT leaders, Capital Works and Procurement teams Represent the organisation at healthcare forums and executive briefings Executive & Relationship Management Establish multi-level relationships across executive, clinical and operational stakeholders Facilitate executive business reviews and strategic planning discussions Act as a trusted advisor by understanding hospital workflow and operational pressures Pipeline & Opportunity Management Maintain a structured, actively managed CRM pipeline Provide detailed forecasting and probability weighting Track key milestones including funding approval, tender release and award Drive disciplined follow-up on all proposals Commercial Leadership Lead pricing negotiations and supply agreement discussions Collaborate with internal operational and service teams to ensure successful project delivery Monitor contract performance and renewal opportunities Identify margin optimisation strategies while maintaining competitive positioning About You You are a strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen and a confident executive presence.
