About the role
Take the lead in delivering high-quality pharmaceutical care as a
Senior Pharmacist
with SA Pharmacy for patients that are in public beds in Flinders Private Hospital. This advanced role is responsible for the management, coordination, distribution, and clinical delivery of pharmacy services within a designated hospital area. You'll exercise independent professional judgement, contribute to policy and service development, and guide multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, effective, and cost-efficient use of medications for South Australian patients.
Whether you're providing complex therapeutic advice, managing service disruptions, or mentoring pharmacists and students, you will play a vital role in enhancing patient outcomes and supporting a values-led culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement. About You
You're a proactive and experienced hospital pharmacist with leadership capability and a commitment to high-quality, patient-focused care.
* Bachelor of Pharmacy (or equivalent) and AHPRA registration as a Pharmacist
* Significant hospital pharmacy experience with proven clinical, supervisory, and management skills
* Ability to lead teams, implement change, and uphold best practice medication safety standards
* Mandatory compliance: Working With Children Check (WWCC), National Police Clearance (NPC), and subject to immunisation requirements
