Accounts Officer Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Officer / Income Auditor to join our team. As an Accounts Officer, you will be responsible for managing daily financial transactions and ensuring accurate recording of hotel revenue.
* A sound background in accounting with at least 1 year experience in the hotel industry is required.
* Relevant qualification in accounting is essential.
* Experience with Opera and POS (Micros/Infrasys) is highly preferred.
* Strong Excel skills are necessary.
Key Responsibilities
* Reconcile daily hotel revenue between Infrasys (POS), Opera & SAP.
* Review daily revenue adjustments and report any irregularities and discrepancies in a timely manner.
* Verify Daily sales reports are accurate with balances on month end.
* Action all variances in revenue and covers, and follow up outstanding issues.
* Check & verify Night Audit reconciliations, audit paperwork and reports.
* Review all refund transactions in detail before any refund is processed.
* Daily Bank reconciliation and enter bank entries in SAP.
* Assist in balance sheet reconciliation at month end.
* Assist in Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable function.
* Manage daily reconciliation of all cash and bank transactions vis-à-vis Opera, POS and Cash Machine.
* Assist during month-end reporting and closing.
* Perform all related duties and special projects as requested.
