About the Role:

As a Senior Staff Specialist or Staff Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care services across various settings, including acute, sub-acute, geriatric evaluation, perioperative, and maintenance care. You will demonstrate clinical and technical expertise, providing evidence-based care to individual patients in all domains of medical practice.

* You will attend and participate in internal and external committees, forums, meetings, working parties, and expert advisory groups to contribute your knowledge and skills.
">
* You will possess excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, colleagues, and corporate functions.
">
* You will proactively manage patient feedback and actively assist in investigating, responding, and remediating incidents and complaints.
">

">About You:
">

To be successful in this role, you must have registration or eligibility for registration as a Specialist Physician – Geriatric Medicine with the Australian Health Practitioner Agency (AHPRA). You will also need Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of Physicians (FRACP) in the specialty of Geriatric Medicine or equivalent overseas qualifications assessed as substantially comparable by the Royal Australasian College of Physicians.

* You will maintain ongoing Continuing Medical Education (CME) program enrollment and completion requirements with the appropriate bodies.

This position offers a competitive total remuneration package, comprised of a salary range between $251,527 - $266,677 per annum and a 12.75% employer superannuation contribution.
