As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will support the smooth operation of our villages by coordinating maintenance tasks, overseeing contractors, and ensuring our environments are safe, functional and beautifully maintained. Your Opportunity
This is a full-time onsite opportunity based in Minto Gardens Retirement Village. As the Maintenance Supervisor, you will backfill for the maintenance officer by coordinating reactive and preventative maintenance across the village. You will oversee contractors, ensure compliance with safety standards, maintain equipment and grounds, and support the Village Manager and Asset Manager with planning and reporting.
You will work closely with residents, contractors and village staff, providing a high standard of service with professionalism, courtesy and care.
Maintenance & Service Delivery
* Complete maintenance tasks safely, efficiently and to a high standard
* Oversee contractors and ensure work is completed within required timeframes
* Ensure equipment is functional, maintained and compliant with manufacturer specifications
* Manage work requests, prioritising and allocating tasks as needed
* Maintain accurate maintenance and safety records
Leadership, Teamwork & Customer Service
* Work collaboratively with Village Managers, Asset Managers and onsite teams
* Uphold Anglicare values by treating all residents with empathy, dignity and respect
* Provide courteous, professional service to residents and contractors
* Contribute to a supportive, respectful work environment that values cultural diversity
Safety, Compliance & Risk Management
* Ensure all personnel follow safe work practices and WHS guidelines
* Manage contractor sign in, sign out and compliance with the Contractor Handbook
* Participate in safety activities, hazard identification and incident reporting
* Contribute to a strong safety culture across the village
What You Will Bring
You are a practical, safety conscious and customer focused professional with strong maintenance skills and a commitment to supporting older residents.
You Will Also Need
* Certificate in building, building maintenance, or a related field (preferred)
* Basic knowledge of maintenance tasks and building industry equipment
* Computer skills including Word, Excel and Outlook
* Current NSW Driver's Licence
