Located 35km west of Toowoomba, the JBS Beef City Plant is part of the Beef City integrated feedlot, processing and farming facility. The cattle are walked from the feedlot to the plant, minimising stress and transportation costs, while simultaneously improving eating quality – one of only two in southern hemisphere. Specialising in grain-fed beef production, the plant employs approximately 850 employees with a current processing capacity of 1026 cattle per day and has a strong reputation for producing high quality grain fed beef for key domestic and international customers.
About the Role
JBS Beef City is currently recruiting for Cold Stores Labourers.
Positions are full time, Monday to Friday with optional overtime on Saturday where available.
Shift Hours: 8pm - 5am (to be confirmed)
Entry level positions start from $977.93 per week. Once you have upskilled yourself with the business, this may increase to $1,144.64 per week. Opportunities to improve and upskill will be discussed on interview day.
About You
We are interested in speaking to applicants that have an interest or experience in a position that involves manual handling, container loading and unloading, cold storage and warehousing. This is an entry level position with the opportunity to upskill and increase your hourly rate.
* Previous experience not required; all necessary training will be provided
* Willingness to participate in a well-developed team environment from general labouring to highly skilled key positions
* Comply with, and contribute to, our highly developed WHS, Quality Assurance and Training programs; have access to reliable transport to travel safely to and from work
* Good attendance and hard work rewarded with a full-time position and the opportunity to progress through the many career pathways open to you
* Willingness to receive a Q-Fever vaccination
