Permenant full time and Casual medical receptionist is required for Meroo Street Family Practice / Bomaderry Creek Health Centre.
This position would suit someone who likes to be busy and is good at multi-tasking.
The practice requires an experienced medical receptionist. The centre is open 5 days per week.
Skills and experience required:
- Minimum of one year of experience as a medical receptionist
- Medical software experience or experience with integrated software programs
- A desire to be learn about the health industry ( if no experience)
- Resume demonstrating stable work history
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Contribution to team requirements
- Must be able to multi-skill
- Ability to comfort patients and anticipate their anxieties or questions
- Must be friendly and want to work in a team setting
- Proactive and “can do” attitude”
- Must have an empathetic attitude towards patients and their concerns
Desirable:
- Knowledge of Best Practice software
- Microsoft word, excel etc
- Managing doctors’ appointment books and foreseeable problems
