SunRice Leeton Manufacturing is currently recruiting for a Forklift Operator to join the Supply Chain Team. The Forklift Operator is responsible for ensuring a quality product is delivered in full on time to all customers. Main duties include performing warehouse movements, i.e., loading trucks, receiving product, ensuring stock is accounted for, documented, and stored in correct order.
To Be Successful For This Role You Will Have:
* A current Forklift licence
* Proven experience in a logistics or distribution environment
* A knowledge of warehousing operations and stock control
* A thorough understanding of standard practices relating to areas such as Safety, Food Safety, and GMP
* Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
* Able to adapt rapidly to changing production demands
* Be a committed self-starter displaying a high level of initiative and be able to work well in a team
* Complete all necessary safety, quality and production checks and paperwork
* Perform routine cleaning tasks associated with AIB, GMP, IPM and hygiene conditions of the work area
* Be a positive Team Member working in a positive, accountable, and inclusive manner
