**Position Purpose**
- use initiative and enthusiasm to support company staff by ensuring office routines and procedures are maintained and improved in order to build teamwork and assist other staff achieve the objectives of their roles.
- ensure customers who visit the company store are provided an excellent level of customer service and sales support by recommending and displaying items that match the customer's needs, to increase sales and customer loyalty.
- preparing the in-store visual merchandise including maintaining the store's exceptional appearance by hanging, folding, tidying stock and clearing any rubbish away.
- provide administrative support, including data entry, to enhance the company's systems and processes to deliver exceptional products and services to the market.
**Position Responsibilities**
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Maintain a professional attitude and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service reflecting the company's commitment to our customers
- Assisting in the set up and organisation of sales and marketing events, functions and internal events
- Maintaining cleanliness of meeting rooms and common areas
- Maintaining office consumables including stationery
- Participate and/or manage specific projects as directed
- General administration
- Answering incoming calls and providing accurate information when needed.
- Welcome and greet customers
- Listen and ascertain the customers' needs for the company's products
- Recommend and display items that match customer needs
- Assist in the display of visual merchandise including maintaining the store's exceptional appearance by hanging, folding, tidying stock and clearing any rubbish away.
- Assist in maintaining a fully stocked store
- Perform all point-of-sale processes
- Keep up to date with product information
- Accurately describe product features and benefits
- Follow all company policies and procedures
- Manage customer refunds
- Continually develop product knowledge especially prior to the release of a new range
**Person Specifications**
- Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
- Proficient in verbal and written English language
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to read, write and effectively communicate with customers, peers and management
- Telephone etiquette
- Ability to multi-task, while being attentive to customers and remaining flexible to the needs of the business
- Ability to work as part of a team and take initiative independent of direct supervision
- Physical demands: This position involves constant moving, talking, hearing, reaching, grabbing and standing. May occasionally involve stooping, kneeling, crouching and climbing ladders
- Customer service focus
- Enthusiastic, friendly and energetic with a genuine desire to provide outstanding service
- Hours of work - Tuesday - Friday 10-3 Saturday 10-2 (Saturday negotiable)
- Keen interest in swimming is desirable
**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 24 per week
**Salary**: $25,000.00 - $35,000.00 per year
