Role Description
Opasa is seeking an experienced IT Zabbix Consultant for a full-time, on-site role in the Greater Melbourne Area. The Consultant will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Zabbix monitoring solutions to address business and operational needs. Daily tasks include consulting with stakeholders, configuring and troubleshooting Zabbix systems, performing technical support, analyzing system performance, and ensuring efficient IT operations. The role requires close collaboration with clients and internal teams to deliver effective monitoring and IT solutions.
Qualifications
* 6+ years Experience in IT Consulting and Consulting with the ability to provide strategic guidance to clients
* Hands-on experience and skills with IT monitoring systems, ideally Zabbix.
* Understanding of monitoring metrics for compute and network devices.
* Strong Linux and IP network skills work experience required to work in Specialized Networks.
* Motivated and able to learn complex IT systems without significant guidance.
* Able to work constructively in a team with varying skills and capabilities
* Strong Analytical Skills and proficiency in assessing systems to deliver optimized solutions
* Practical experience and deep understanding of Information Technology and Technical Support
* Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
* Proficient communication and collaboration skills for effective stakeholder engagement
* Experience with Zabbix is preferred.
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred
* Relevant certifications in monitoring tools or IT consulting are a plus
