We are seeking a proactive and experienced HSE Advisor to join our team at Dampier Ports. Local strongly preferred on a 5/2, 4/3 roster preferred, but FIFO with a longer swing considered for the right candidate.
The successful candidates will be instrumental in ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and in fostering a culture of safety on-site.
The role will be offered as Full-Time Max Term contract or Casual as preferred.

Key functions of the role
* Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with HSE standards.
* Implement and maintain HSE programs and initiatives.
* Provide HSE training and support to site employees and management.
* Investigate incidents and accidents, and implement corrective actions.
* Prepare and submit HSE reports and documentation.
* Collaborate with various departments to promote HSE best practices on-site.
What will set you up for success
* Cert 4 Occupational Health and Safety.
* Ideally, 2 years of experience in an HSE role within the mining or civil construction industries.
* Working knowledge of Western Australian HSE regulations and standards.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
