Ideally, you’re someone who… is a highly experienced and versatile professional with a minimum of 3 years in interstate trucking, specifically transporting construction materials across Australia, holding an MC license. You are proficient in operating various construction machinery and capable of performing general labour tasks when not driving. You will possess a strong understanding of Australian road regulations and safety standards, coupled with excellent time management and communication skills, enabling you to work independently and as part of a team while maintaining an unwavering commitment to safety.

Where you'll be working
Transporting construction materials, equipment, and supplies to various job sites across Australia, based on project requirements.
Main duties and responsibilities
Safely operate a heavy vehicle to transport construction materials, equipment, and supplies to various job sites across Australia.
Ensure timely delivery and pickup of materials according to the project schedule.
Maintain vehicle cleanliness, perform basic maintenance checks, and report mechanical issues.
Complete all necessary paperwork, including delivery logs, fuel records, and compliance documentation.
Adhere to all road safety regulations, transport laws, and company procedures.
On-Site Machinery Operation (when not traveling)
Operate various types of machinery on construction sites to assist in project tasks.
Perform daily pre-start checks, routine maintenance, and report machinery issues.
Collaborate with the construction team to meet project deadlines.
General Labour Assistance (when not traveling or operating machinery)
Assist with site preparation, material handling, and site clean-up.
Work with other workers to ensure smooth workflow and safety on-site.
Follow safety protocols and company policies to maintain a safe work environment.
Minimum requirements
At least 3 years of experience as an interstate truck driver, with a proven record in transporting construction materials.
Ability to perform manual labour and assist with construction duties.
Strong knowledge of Australian road regulations and safety standards.
Excellent time management and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team.
Commitment to safety and adherence to safety procedures.
Experience with operating construction machinery (preferred).
