Salary range $113,448 – $131,517 plus super

To put it simply… You'll use your technical electrical engineering experience to help formulate out Strategic Asset Management Plan (SAMP) to ensure the reliability of our Hydro assets for years to come. You will support the management of asset portfolios and work closely with our Production Operations and Capital Planning team to deliver future works. While this role will be predominantly based at our Hobart office you will get the chance to visit our assets in stunning Tasmanian location.
As an Electrical Engineer, you will be…
✓ Supporting the creation and delivery of lifecycle asset management strategies aligned to our broader longer-term objectives.
✓ Scoping and specifying asset upgrade works.
✓ Supporting compliance, safety in design, and risk management planning
✓ Providing input into maintenance reviews and ensuring asset performance is understood.
✓ Contributing to technical standards and continuous improvement initiatives.
✓ Check and update our site data sheets to ensure information stays current.

Who are you?
You're an experienced Electrical Engineer with a background in utility-scale energy, large-scale production, or industrial environments, ideally including hydropower. You hold a degree in Electrical Engineering and bring solid technical expertise, a strategic mindset, and a collaborative approach.
You have experience in lifecycle asset management and electrical asset portfolio management, with a sound understanding of both Secondary and/or systems. You're familiar with ISO 55001 and the National Electricity Rules and have worked within regulated or standards-driven environments. With strong analytical and problem-solving skills, you produce clear, structured technical documentation, and you actively seek opportunities for continuous improvement.
