We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and skilled full-time Workshop Foreman (Heavy Vehicle / Diesel Mechanic) to join our busy workshop in North Plympton SA.

The successful candidate will work on a fleet of Heavy Waste vehicles. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Maintaining a fleet of waste collection vehicles and equipment
* Supervising and managing workshop and mechanical staff
* Reporting
* Staff training and development
* Assisting in major and minor repairs
* Managing emergency breakdowns
* Scheduled maintenance
The ideal applicant will possess:
* Experience in managing staff
* A current heavy rigid truck driver's license
* Familiarity with Quality Assurance & Occupational Health & Safety
* Good communication and organizational skills
Experience in hydraulics, automotive electrics, or welding is advantageous but not essential. A forklift license and previous similar role experience are also highly regarded.
A generous rate will be negotiated based on experience.
All successful applicants will undergo a Pre-Employment Medical, including a drug test, and must provide a current driving record.
