Job Description This exciting executive level role, as our Head of Retail Sales for Power Tools across the Oceania region, includes leading with vision and strategy, while building a dynamic, high-performing, customer-focused team to drive business growth and profitability.
This is a permanent, full-time role based at our Clayton headquarters.
As Head of Retail Sales Oceania, you will shape and execute world-class sales strategies across Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific region.
You will lead the retail sales organisation, embed sales-force automation and in-call processes, optimise commercial performance, and build a high-performance culture aligned with our "OnePT" philosophy.
Key Responsibilities Sales Excellence: Develop, lead and deliver retail sales strategies driven by data-informed decisions and a culture of continuous improvement.
Salesforce Automation Call Process: Implement and champion CRM systems, mobile field apps, analytics dashboards and structured call cycles to boost operational efficiency and customer service.
Strategy Development Implementation: Own the go-to-market strategy for PT Oceania Retail Sales, aligned with Bosch's corporate goals and regional market opportunities.
Financial Commercial Management: Develop and manage retail sales budgets, targets and SG A costs; monitor performance, forecasts and KPIs.
Performance Optimisation: Analyse sales operations and processes, identify improvement areas and drive initiatives to enhance productivity, efficiency and ROI.
Team Leadership Culture: Lead, mentor and develop the retail sales team.
Foster a high-performance, united "OnePT" culture across the region.
Sales Investment Management: Oversee sales concessions, allowances, rebates and promotional investments to deliver optimal growth.
HSE Compliance Leadership: Ensure all retail sales operations comply with HSE and legislative standards across the region.
Customer Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with major customers and channel partners; manage contracts and long-term partnerships.
Regional Execution: Oversee channel plans across 14 countries in Oceania; collaborate across Marketing, Operations and Finance to align customer and business strategies.
Qualifications We are looking for a conscientious professional with the ability to work across multiple business units, manage diverse topics and priorities, establish effective relationships across all levels of an organisation.
You should be able to demonstrate the following: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Commerce or related field.
Advanced degree preferred.
Extensive senior leadership experience in sales or marketing, ideally within FMCG, retail or consumer goods.
Proven track record in leading large sales teams and implementing CRM or sales-force automation systems.
High-level negotiating, presentation and commercial acumen.
Experience in power tools, hardware or trade sectors is highly desirable.
Exceptional analytical skills, ability to lead change and drive strategic growth in a complex, matrix-based organisation.
Strong interpersonal skills, leadership style that empowers and motivates.
Willingness to travel frequently (domestic and international) and hold a valid driver's licence.
