Finance Business Partner Job Description



We are seeking a skilled Finance Business Partner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality financial reports, supporting month-end processes, and providing insightful analysis to Council leaders.



* Produce accurate and timely financial reports in line with accounting standards and internal procedures

* Ensure the finance team meets monthly reporting deadlines and supports month-end processes

* Conduct complex financial analysis using corporate applications to meet organisational requirements

The ideal candidate will have experience in Local Government or Public Sector roles, with strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders.
