Led by Dr. Matthew Ma, our family‐owned and operated practice has been providing premium specialist care to the Newcastle community for over 25 years. We operate out of a beautiful, purpose‐built facility in the heart of Charlestown. We are a close‐knit team that takes immense pride in our work. The Role
We are seeking an experienced, self‐motivated Dental Assistant to join our team. This is a diverse role that offers the opportunity to work across chairside assisting, sterilisation, and front‐desk administration.
Key Responsibilities
* High‐level chairside assisting in a specialist environment.
* Strict adherence to sterilisation and infection control protocols.
* Administrative support, including appointment book management and processing accounts.
* Providing exceptional patient care to a diverse demographic (including DVA and Defence).
What We Are Looking For
Experience as a dental assistant is essential for this role. As we are a specialist practice, we value a high level of clinical precision and a proactive "can‐do" attitude.
* Previous dental assisting experience is essential.
* Experience with Dental4Windows (D4W) is highly regarded.
* Strong attention to detail, excellent time management, and a positive, innovative mindset.
* Ability to communicate warmly with patients and contribute effectively to our team dynamic.
