On 1 January 2026 five health services (Kooweerup Regional Health Service, Peninsula Health, Alfred Health, Bass Coast Health and Gippsland Southern Health Service) will come together to create Bayside Health. A newly merged health service with more than 22,000 employees caring for a community of over 1.2 million Victorians.
The new health service will provide people with the best possible care with services that support them throughout their lives. The merger will also strengthen our workforce, providing new training, education and career opportunities. Subject to final approval on 1 January 2026, all employees from the five health services will transfer to Bayside Health.

What You Will Be Doing
The clinical support nurse provides guidance and teaching to nurses to develop high quality clinical skills. The clinical support nurse works competently within their scope of practice delivering and facilitating education in compliance with evidence-based practice as well as hospital policy and guidelines. The clinical support nurse demonstrates flexibility in supporting all levels of staff across the dedicated area. They work closely with the Clinical Educators, the Learning Hub and the Nurse Unit Managers to ensure learners are provided with a supported and quality learning experience focussed on risk mitigation, and developing staff along the novice to expert continuum. The clinical support nurse reinforces theoretical education and assists learners to develop the necessary skills, attitudes and knowledge for specialty practice.
What You Need
We anticipate you will have:
* Registered Nurse with current condition- free AHPRA registration
* Current and extensive experience of working in Emergency Care
* Post Graduate qualification in Emergency Nursing or Critical Care studies
* Prior experience in teaching or supporting learners
