We have an exciting opportunity for a Team Leader to join the KYC Refresh Team and assist with the uplift of the Banks On-going Customer Due Diligence (OCDD) regulatory requirements in Australia and New Zealand. The KYC Refresh Team Leader will be accountable for leading, inspiring, developing and maintaining a high performance team within a dynamic and fast paced customer focused environment.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing the team to ensure they deliver on agreed daily call targets, communicate progress and escalate any issues
- Contact customers in accordance with OCDD processes to verify and update primary KYC details
- Overseeing the team to ensure they accurately and effectively update customer details using key systems while meeting team and individual KPIs
- Support, motivate and coach the team in meeting individual and team targets
- Conduct call quality control checks to ensure procedures are adequately followed and provide feedback as required
- Continuous improvement of procedures, processes and ways of working.
**About you**
Qualifications in a relevant field (e.g. Commerce, Business, Law, Maths, Economics) and previous experience working within a financial institution is desirable, but not required.
You will have:
- The ability to maintain confidentiality of customer information in line with internal policies.
- The ability to deliver on agreed daily call targets, communicating progress and resolving escalations.
- The ability to work within defined policies and procedures.
- Knowledge in BOQ's core banking system's (desired, not essential).
- Highly adaptable attitude with a willingness to respond to the changing needs of the business, its customers and its people.
