The Role:
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys sitting at the intersection of creative leadership, business development, and client engagement. You won't be "on the tools," but instead shaping the big picture – making sense of briefs, leading conceptual direction, inspiring project teams, and bringing new opportunities to the table. We're looking for someone who's commercially sharp, confident in the pitch, and able to excite both clients and internal teams with fresh ideas.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead design direction across all studios nationally, ensuring creative quality and consistency
* Work closely with clients and internal teams to develop compelling design narratives
* Oversee conceptual development and guide teams through design phases
* Mentor and inspire designers at all levels, championing a culture of creativity and collaboration
* Collaborate with Directors to align design strategy with broader business goals
* Represent the design vision in client presentations and industry events
Key Requirements:
* 10+ years' experience in interior architecture or interior design, with a strong portfolio of commercial projects
* Proven leadership in creative direction and studio mentorship
* Comfortable working at both strategic and conceptual levels
* Confident presenter and storyteller with strong communication skills
* Collaborative, curious, and passionate about design that makes a difference
