Sunshine Sugar's Harwood site is seeking a Labourer to join the refinery team, in a permanent role.
Responsibilities
* General factory and site cleaning duties
* Replenish consumables to Refinery and Packing Floor Control Rooms
* Conduct QA and QC checks and cleaning of equipment
* Working as part of operations team to conduct vessel inspections, cleaning and maintenance
* Assist with stock counts and product movements
* General labouring duties as required by Production Management team
We are looking for
* Current Forklift license with relevant experience
* Mechanical Aptitude
* Ability to communicate in a clear and constructive manner both verbally and in writing
* Commitment and good attitude to safety and culture
* Teamwork and willingness to co-operatively share knowledge
* Proactive self-starter with ability to work with minimal supervision
* Sufficient physical fitness, sight and hearing
* Ability to work in an environment with frequent exposure to noisy, wet, greasy and/or humid conditions, as well as heights
* Production experience an advantage but not essential
* Food Safety awareness or training
* HACCP awareness or training
