* Hospitality Storeperson

We are currently seeking motivated and proactive Storepersons to join the team fulltime at the both the Gungahlin Lakes Golf and Community Club and the Ainslie Football and Social Club If you have organisational skills, like a challenge, and can lift heavy things using safe practices – we want to hear from you

This remuneration for this role is as per the Registered and Licensed Clubs Award 2020.

Objectives

The key objective of the Storeperson role is to manage the receipt, storage, and distribution of stock while ensuring accurate inventory control and compliance with safety and hygiene standards. The successful candidate will be supporting operational efficiency by maintaining organised storage areas, adhering to stock rotation practices, and coordinating general maintenance and repairs for the venue.

Key Responsibilities

* Ensure all deliveries are accurate as per purchase orders, properly inspected for quality, and stored in appropriate areas
* Conduct regular inventory checks and update inventory systems with accurate data
* Conduct accurate stock transfers and recording on SwiftPOS, B.O.H, and POS
* Complete monthly WHS section checklists
* Tapping kegs and cleaning lines for all bar areas
* Ensure appropriate stock rotation in storage areas to minimise wastage
* Adhere to WHS policy and procedures
* Tend to general maintenance requests and repairs for the venue
* Appropriately operate specialised equipment, including but not limited to the goods lift and pallet jack
* Any other duties as listed in the PD for the role, or as directed by Management

Storeperson Position Requirements

* A team player, who can build rapport with staff and contribute to the motivation of the team, encouraging a positive culture
* Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner
* Appropriately manages own time with a proactive approach to task completion
* Adheres to safety standards and follows appropriate processes when using machinery, lifting heavy objects, or handling dangerous goods
* Ensures all maintenance requests are actioned by the due date
* Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certification
* Responsible Gaming Services (RCG) Certification
* Must maintain suitable physical fitness and capacity to undertake a physically demanding role that includes lifting heavy objects, operating machinery and consistent standing/walking
