We're partnering with a well-established industrial business in Western Sydney that's looking for a proactive and commercially minded Internal Auditor to join their team. This is a unique opportunity to lead and deliver on the annual internal audit plan, helping ensure the integrity and transparency of operations across a dynamic joint venture. Reporting to the Finance Director, you’ll plan and execute audits, provide critical insights to senior leadership, and support continuous improvement in operational risk and control environments.

Key Responsibilities:
* Plan, execute, and report on risk-based internal audit assignments
* Maintain and strengthen ongoing relationships with internal stakeholders and audit partners
* Identify internal control deficiencies and work with management to develop actionable solutions
* Contribute to ad hoc investigations and special assignments
* Prepare clear, concise, and informative audit reports
* Ensure compliance with budgetary requirements and timelines
Skills and Experience:
* Significant experience leading end-to-end internal audits
* Strong understanding of risk management and internal controls
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* Tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Accounting, or a related field
* CA/CPA qualified and ideally Certified Internal Auditor (or working towards)
* Analytical mindset with solid problem-solving skills
