About the Opportunity An industrial cleaner supports the upkeep of site housekeeping standards across our shipyard operational areas and walkways. The role plays a critical part in maintaining safe access by ensuring walkways, stairwells and high traffic production areas present in safe and clean order. A strong emphasis of the role is placed on the routine use of push sweepers and brooms to efficiently maintain large industrial floorspaces and external areas of the shipyard. What’s Involved Conduct routine sweeping of walkways, stairwells, hardstand areas and access routes across the shipyard Operate and maintain industrial push sweeping equipment and brooms to remove debris from operational areas Ensure all walkways remain clear of trip hazards, dust and loose material Perform cleaning rounds in accordance with expected site housekeeping standard Maintain equipment in good working order and report any faults to supervision Support general housekeeping tasks as required You’ll Need Construction Industry White Card Eligibility for a Defence Security Clearance Why Join Us?
