THE ROLE
This role is rostered across Sunday to Thursday with varying shift times. By applying, you’re confirming your availability to work across these days. As an Assistant Store Manager, your mission is to lead with a customer-first mindset, deliver great in-store experiences and inspire your team to achieve this every day. You will partner with your Store Manager to drive your team to deliver excellence in every customer interaction and coach high performance. You will assist in overseeing the day-to-day operations, manage the team to achieve financial budgets and targets, and ensure visual merchandising excellence. In the absence of the Store Manager, you are the first point of contact for your team, ensuring customers receive high-quality in-store service that meets JD Sports standards.

- Customer Experience: Lead with a customer-first mindset; coach and inspire your team to create exceptional experiences that build loyalty.
- Business Development: Drive store performance, maximise sales and profitability by analysing data to identify opportunities and mitigate risks in sales, inventory and operations.
- Commercial Operations: Prioritise time, tasks and processes for the best return on investment.
- Dynamic People Management: Create a positive store environment, nurture a high-performance culture, and recruit and develop top talent through feedback, coaching, training, and recognition.
