Fire Safety Expert Opportunity
This role involves responding to emergencies, promoting community safety, and contributing to educational activities. You will be part of a team that works together to achieve common goals.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, the ability to work well under pressure, and a strong commitment to community service. You must also be physically fit and able to operate specialist equipment safely and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
* Respond to emergency incidents in a timely and efficient manner.
* Promote fire safety awareness and education within the community.
* Develop and maintain competencies through regular training and drills.
* Operate firefighting and rescue equipment safely and effectively.
* Maintain station facilities and ensure they are clean and hygienic.
* Contribute to incident reporting and general administration.
Requirements:
* A current Blue Card or eligibility to apply for one.
* Employer's consent to attend incidents and emergencies.
* Reside or work within a reasonable distance from the auxiliary fire station.
* Australian permanent resident status.
* A manual C class driver's license.
