Due to strong and ongoing growth, we are seeking Change Managers at Senior Consultant and Manager level to join our Canberra consulting team. You will play a key role in significant government transformation initiatives, with opportunities to broaden your consulting capability across the full Alchemy service model. Our intent is to support you to grow your skills and accelerate your career in line with our business trajectory.
Role Responsibilities
Initial responsibilities include:
1. Project Change Management:
- Develop Change Management Strategies, leveraging Prosci methodology
- Develop Change Management Plans for multi-stakeholder ICT and business transformation programs
- Conduct change impact and change readiness assessments aligned to Prosci’s 10 Aspects of Change Impact
2. Project Communications:
- Develop communication plans and supporting communications material
- Support executive communication requirements for governance forums, including briefing papers, speaking notes and key message documents
3. Stakeholder Engagement:
- Design stakeholder engagement plans and maintain consultation reports
- Support stakeholder engagement activities across the project, ensuring clear, timely and consistent communication
Qualifications & Experience Required
We encourage applications from candidates with the following:
- 3+ years of experience in change management and communications, with demonstrated ability to deliver in complex government or transformation settings
- Experience in management consulting, ideally across a diverse portfolio of clients or projects
- Experience designing and implementing change management frameworks applying industry-leading tools and methodologies
- Strong written communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, engaging and fit-for-purpose content (communications, briefing materials, key messaging, FAQs)
- Ability to provide strategic input and creative direction to produce communications that inspire engagement
- Robust stakeholder engagement capability, with experience working with senior executives, cross-functional teams and government stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects or workstreams, balancing structure, agility and attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust, influence effectively and collaborate across diverse teams
- Prosci qualification is preferred but not essential
You must be based in Canberra and hold a Baseline Security Clearance (minimum).
