Secondary School Teacher (Secondary School Teacher) - International Baccalaureate (IB) Chemistry

Part-time position – 9 hours/week
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Teaching Chemistry to Secondary school students (up to and including Year 12) within the framework of the International Baccalaureate Diploma
Partnering with parents and carers through proactive engagement, in the education and growth of their children
Creating inclusive, motivating, and engaging learning environments that cater to the diverse needs of all students through varies teaching strategies and pedagogical practices
Collaboratively designing learning experiences that cultivate in students learning dispositions of curiosity, challenge, empathy and self-awareness
Appropriate use of ICT and related technologies in your teaching to facilitate and enrich learning within and beyond the classroom
Contributing actively to student wellbeing
Be able to be part of a collaborative professional learning team
Embracing the French-Australian work culture of our school.
Skills and Experiences:
Bachelor's degree in education or equivalent, with previous experience teaching to Secondary School students (up to and including Year 12)
Relational and reflective classroom teacher and collaborative community member focused on improving educational outcomes
Genuine interest in the growth of young people, and demonstrated ability to engage with students using inclusive and innovative pedagogical practices
Ability and interest to teach across different subject areas and programme types would be an advantage - please provide details in your application. Previous experience teaching the International Baccalaureate curriculum will be highly regarded
Exposure to teaching in an international school would be beneficial
Committed to ongoing professional learning and reflection
Native English speaker, with the ability to speak French a plus
