Overview
One of Perth's best venues has an exciting opportunity for someone to take on the role of Assistant Venue Manager.
The position will involve working within a close team environment and managing staff consisting of duty managers, bar staff, glassies, security, band members and DJ's.
Responsibilities
* Assist in managing a large entertainment venue and lead a team including duty managers, bar staff, glassies, security, band members and DJs.
* Ensure extensive experience in bar procedures and stock control; be available weekends (Friday, Saturday nights) and Sundays.
* Provide support for staff training and lead by example.
* Order stock and work with the bar manager; maintain stocktaking accuracy.
* Be familiar with operating POS systems and EFTPOS.
* Set up events with food & drink service.
* Provide first-class customer service and foster a positive work environment.
* Have a sound understanding of the Liquor Licensing Act and the Directors Policies.
* Take a hands-on approach and continue developing skills and experience in running a large entertainment venue.
Qualifications
* Approved Manager qualification
* A good level of computer literacy
* Stocktaking experience
* Experience in setting up events with food & drink service
* Sound understanding of the Liquor Licensing Act and Directors Policies
