Overview
Video Editor at Visual Domain (News Corp Australia) role: to bring footage to life by crafting compelling stories reflecting clients' visions. You'll work with producers under the guidance of the Production Manager and will be responsible for editing, colour grading, sound mixing, and incorporating motion graphics.
Responsibilities
Editing and post-production (colour, sound, graphics) under producer direction
Incorporating a wide range of creative assets
Suggesting fresh ideas to keep edits engaging
Applying feedback to your own and others' work
Managing timelines and communicating proactively
Seeking feedback to grow and improve
Qualifications
Proficient in Adobe Premiere and Adobe After Effects
Proficient in sound mixing and color grading in Premiere; DaVinci Resolve experience is a plus
Strong time management and organisational skills
High attention to detail with a keen eye for visual storytelling
Proactive problem-solver with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues
Creative thinker who brings fresh ideas to each edit
Team player who can also work autonomously
Growth mindset with a passion for continuous learning and upskilling
Showreel demonstrating editing capabilities is essential
