The position requires someone who is guest focused, flexible in their availability and is a team player. The role will be located at our Pavilion and Governor complexes in Bowen Hills, Brisbane. Expected hours are minimum of 24hrs. per week. Up to 30 as required.
This role will involve working our front desk onsite, managing the daily admin tasks and providing guests and building occupants with great service.
Working autonomously/with limited supervision to achieve set outcomes in the accommodation operations.
* Manage check-ins and check outs.
* Execute the settling and issuing of guest's accounts.
* Confirm bookings with guests in advance and liaise with the reservations manager where required.
* Take reservation enquiries and bookings.
* Manage data entry into RMS booking system.
* Occasional after-hours phone coverage (compensation provided, as required).
* Ensure that the guest requests are completed accurately and efficiently, focusing on guest needs as a priority.
* Ensure that all standards are maintained, profitability is maximized, customer needs are met and adhere to all Direct Collectives policies and procedures.
* Work to help develop, protect and promote the company culture and morale.
* Report to management regarding daily operations.
* Conduct room inspections and audits.
* All other duties as outlined by management.
To be successful in role, you will have work rights in Australia, be available to work various shifts, including early mornings, weekends and Public Holidays.
You must possess strong communication skills and are confident in problem solving communication with various people involved in the business.
