About the Job:
* Provide practical assistance with housekeeping, grocery shopping, and meal preparation to support clients' daily needs.
* Transport clients to appointments, shopping trips, and social activities, promoting their wellbeing and connection with their community.
* Support with personal care tasks, including hygiene, showering, dressing, meal assistance, and medication administration.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist clients with daily tasks to maintain their independence and dignity.
* Develop strong relationships with clients, understanding their unique needs and preferences.
* Communicate effectively with clients, family members, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care.
* Maintain accurate records of client interactions and progress.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Diploma or Certificate III/IV in Aged Care, Individual Support, or equivalent qualification.
* Previous experience in aged or community care, or a strong desire to begin a career in this field.
* Provisional or full Australian driving license and access to a comprehensively insured, reliable vehicle.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating empathy and a customer-centric approach.
