About the Role
We are seeking committed
Medical and Surgical Registered Nurses
to provide high-quality, patient-centred care across NT Government Hospitals. You will be part of a supportive multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced medical ward environment, contributing to improved patient outcomes and service excellence.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver safe and effective nursing care across general medical wards
* Conduct patient assessments, care planning, and evaluations
* Administer medications and IV therapies in accordance with policy and standards
* Work collaboratively with doctors, allied health, and Aboriginal Health Practitioners
* Support junior staff and contribute to clinical education and mentorship
* Participate in quality improvement and infection prevention initiatives
Essential Criteria
* Current AHPRA registration
as a Registered Nurse (Division 1)
* Demonstrated experience in acute or medical ward settings
* Excellent clinical, communication, and teamwork skills
* Commitment to providing culturally safe care to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples
* Current Working with Children Clearance (or ability to obtain)
