 
        
        The role of Procurement and Administrative Officer is a unique opportunity in a Government Department, to work in a dynamic and rewarding team environment.

- Pay Rate**:$52-$55 p/h + Super**:
- Easy to fill timesheet and on-time weekly payment_ 
- Duration**:7 Month Contract **_(Strong chance of extension)_ 
- Contract Dates**:5/12/22 to 30/06/23 **_(flexible on start date)_ 
- **Full training provided**:
- Fulltime Hours: Fulltime Hours | M to F 
- 2 days WFH & 3 days in Office_
**Main Duties**:
- Manage a wide range of procurement activities on behalf of the branch 
- Working closely with stakeholders to provide procurement guidance and support 
- Document review and drafting including Request for Quote documentation, Delegate approvals, contracts/work orders and contract management 
- Maintain an understanding of the departmental Procurement Policy Framework and other financial policies, procedures and guidelines to which the branch operates 
- Undertaking general administrative tasks and any other work required by the Branch Executive Leadership and Practice Managers 
- Assisting with branch recruitment processes and new starter onboarding 
- Assisting with triaging and responding to requests for assistance in shared mailboxes 
- Undertaking data analysis to assist with reporting of branch statistics 
- Assisting with processing invoices, including payment processing and record-keeping 
- Assisting with branch wide activities and coordination efforts 
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation through assisting with streamlining processes, communication lines and stakeholder communication

- Experience in providing administrative support within a fast-paced organisation 
- Understand, and the ability to support branch procurement activities 
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport and great working relationships with our internal and external stakeholders 
- The ability to deliver high quality and timely operational support 
- Demonstrated initiative and sound judgement 
- Have basic financial acumen 
- Experience in procurement in a federal government environment 
- Understanding of the PGPA Act and Commonwealth Procurement Rules 
- Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to multi-task and work under pressure to meet deadlines 
- _Previous Government experience is highly regarded but not essential _
**Essential requirements**:
- Ability to obtain and maintain national police check 
- You must have Full Work Rights 
- You must be COVID Vaccinated
