Role Overview
We are currently seeking motivated individuals to join our team as Utility Workers across various departments, including Mine Site Cleaning, Housekeeping, and Kitchen Utility services. Working in this role offers a unique opportunity beyond traditional hospitality – ideal for those seeking a fresh start or a new challenge. You will play a vital role in maintaining clean, safe, and efficient environments on‐site, with a strong focus on teamwork and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
* Setting up and clearing dining rooms
* Dishwashing and cleaning of the kitchen, equipment & dining areas
* Maintaining legislated food hygiene and safety practices
* Fast, effective service throughout busy periods - with a good attitude
* Assisting the broader team as required
* Preparing and presenting texture‐modified foods
* Dining Room Duties - maintain cleanliness, stock and crib food levels
* Housekeeping Duties - room and ensuite cleaning, making beds (if needed)
* Common Area Cleaning - emptying bins, sweeping, mopping, general cleaning
* Mine Site Cleaning - cleaning offices, crib huts, bathhouses
Desired Skills and Experience
* Experience working as a cleaner 12 months +
* Utility (Housekeeping / Kitchen Utility) experience 6 months +
* A commitment to genuine, friendly customer service
* A motivated, enthusiastic and positive 'can‐do' attitude
* Ability to work in a fast‐paced time‐sensitive environment
* Pride in personal appearance & hygiene
* Drivers License (Auto or Man)
* Australian Citizen or Australian Permanent Resident
Requirements
Successful applicants will need to have or be willing to obtain a police clearance and undertake a pre‐employment medical assessment.
