Glen Eden Constructions is a well-established Concrete FRP subcontractor, recognised for delivering high-quality bridge and retaining wall projects for Tier 1 contractors across Brisbane, the Sunshine Coast, and the Gold Coast.
There is a strong pipeline of TMR major infrastructure projects leading into the 2032 Olympics and Glen Eden is well positioned to play a key role in delivering these projects, with secured work extending through to the end of 2028 and a positive long-term outlook beyond.
As part of our continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer to join our team.
Salary: $160,000 – $180,000 + super + vehicle/allowance
About the Role
This is a full-time position based in our Brisbane office, with occasional site visits required for meetings and project support.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced engineer, seeking to focus on contract management and operational support from a stable office base, rather than the uncertainty of knowing where your next site-based deployment will be.
Key Responsibilities
* Preparation and management of payment claims
* Development and administration of contractual notices (e.g. delays, EOT's, variations)
* Development and ongoing management of project program (using recognised programming software)
* Preparation of monthly job cost reporting
* Preparation and control of quality documentation, including construction procedures and ITPs
* Coordination with RPEQ designers for temporary works (formwork and scaffolding)
* Provision of day-to-day engineering and operational support to site teams
* Ongoing liaison with clients to support successful project delivery
Required Experience
* Minimum 7+ years' experience in civil construction, ideally within structural concrete or bridge works
* Sound understanding of structural concrete works, relevant Codes of Practice and TMR Specifications
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage professionally with our clients
* Well‐organised with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
