About the role – Permanent Full Time Are you a culinary leader looking to get your nights and weekends back? Baptist Care SA is seeking a hands-on Hospitality Team Leader in Adventure Pathways. Based at Mylor Adventure Camp, you’ll lead a talented kitchen team, plan creative seasonal menus, and oversee meal prep and service for campers and guests across all our Adventure Programs. Bring your culinary skills, leadership, and creativity to a supportive, community-focused environment where high standards and great food go hand in hand. Key responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to: Managing staff rostering to ensure appropriate coverage for programs and events. Training and supporting kitchen staff to maintain high standards of service, safety and food quality. Managing kitchen operations, including ordering, stock control and budget oversight. Providing catering support at both Mylor Adventure Camp and Wirraway Homestead, including occasional catering for off-site journeys as required. Liaising with the broader team and with clients directly, including student parents and teachers. About you: You are a skilled hospitality professional who loves creating great food and memorable experiences. Organised, proactive, and a calm leader, you can manage multiple tasks while maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. You communicate well, adapt creatively to meet guest needs, and foster a positive, collaborative kitchen environment. You will also have the following skills and experience: Certificate IV or above in Catering and/or Hospitality services or extensive equivalent experience Experience working/leading in a commercial kitchen Experience in customer service environment preferred Working knowledge of safe work practices and risk management practices and standards Sound interpersonal and communication skills Why work with us?
