Leadership Position
We are looking for an experienced Category Lead to lead our procurement team and drive commercial outcomes through category plan development.
This role requires strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of procurement processes, and excellent communication skills.
* Develop and implement category plans that incorporate change management and ensure business adoption.
* Lead a team of procurement professionals in establishing the development of multiple category plans across a broad portfolio of spend in alignment with BU priorities and procurement capability.
* Proactively identify and quantify opportunities to reduce total cost across the supply chain.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated expert-level experience in Supply/Category Management (7+ years), hold an undergraduate degree in a relevant field such as Commerce, Law, or Engineering, and possess deep knowledge of market dynamics, processes, trends, and best practices within their accountable categories.
Responsibilities:
* Embed and enhance the category management framework across Origin for consistency and alignment.
* Provide advice and ensure rigorous procurement processes, including strategic sourcing, supplier management and risk mitigation.
* Understand business cost drivers and market trends to deliver annual value targets.
