Job Title: Business Manager
The Townsville Catholic Education (TCEO) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Manager to join our team at Good Shepherd Catholic College, Mount Isa.
The Business Manager will be responsible for the efficient and effective management of the financial operations, administration, and support services for the college. This includes providing expert advice and support to the Principal and Leadership Team to ensure the college's financial sustainability.
Key Accountabilities:
* Manage day-to-day accounting and record keeping, ensuring integrity and adherence to policies and procedures.
* Successful management of school debtors consistent with Catholic Education ethos.
* Provide timely financial advice to the Leadership Team to achieve the College Improvement Plan.
* Develop and manage budgeting and reporting functions to ensure regular, accurate information and reports are presented.
* Foster quality improvement activities to deliver effective services to the college community.
* Successfully manage support services to maintain college facilities, plant, equipment, gardens, and grounds.
About You:
We are looking for someone with:
* Minimum 5 years' experience in a comparable role.
* Demonstrated leadership skills in client service focused teams.
* Advanced experience in integrated business management systems.
* Analytical skills with ability to interpret financial data.
Mandatory Criteria:
* Current Working with Children Suitability Card.
* Relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting, Commerce, or Business.
* Accreditation with an Australian accounting professional body.
* Current Driver's Licence.
* Ability to travel within the Catholic Diocese of Townsville.
