The dietitian assistant works within the Dietetics Team and also wider multidisciplinary team, including doctors, nurses, speech pathology and food service. The major responsibilities include supporting patients with menu selection, malnutrition screening, and other tasks that support nutrition care, e.g. supplement check, meal audit. We are looking for someone who is reliable, has excellent customer service skill, experience working with people from a diverse background and able to work in a busy environment. The successful candidate will need to work independently in completing the role/task and also work well within the team What You'll Be Doing This position is part of the Liverpool Hospital Nutrition & Dietetics Department. The Dietitian Assistant assists in maintaining a high standard of nutritional care for all inpatients by obtaining and managing daily menu choices, interviewing patients for their food preference, supporting the Dietitians in monitoring of oral intake and liaising with Food Services on the day to day provision of meals to patients.
