About the Role:
Kids Hub consortium is a collaborative partnership of agencies that jointly govern and deliver Head to Health (H2H) Kids Hub services across Northern and Southern Adelaide. The consortium shares responsibility for governance, funding, clinical and cultural leadership, evaluation, and community engagement to provide equitable, accessible, and culturally responsive mental health and wellbeing services for children aged 0–12 years and their families.
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Provisional Psychologist Intern to join our multidisciplinary and multi-organisational team.
In this role, you will work collaboratively with children aged 0–12, along with their families, carers, and other supports, to identify needs, set goals, and develop shared care plans. You will provide high-quality psychological and psychosocial assessments and deliver care coordination and evidence-based, focused psychological interventions to support children presenting with a range of mental health and wellbeing concerns.
Experience Requirements:
* Demonstrated ability to conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments based on the presenting needs of the client.
* Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to form engaging relationships with clients and their families/carers.
* Highly self-motivated and dynamic personality with the ability to significantly contribute to mental health service delivery with a level of autonomy.
Qualification and Other Requirements:
* Eligibility to take the 5 + 1 provisional psychology internship pathway: Master of Professional Psychology a five-year sequence of accredited study which grants eligibility for the AHPRA 5+1 internship pathway.
* Must hold a Provisional registration with AHPRA
* Current or willing to obtain a Working with Children's Check (WWCC)
* Current or willing to obtain a National Police Check (NPC)
* Drivers Licence
