Hudson has partnered with a large Federal Department and is seeking to engage multiple APS4 Project Officers involved in assisting with managing environmental programs across Australia.
These roles are based in Canberra however remote applicants from across Australia will be considered.
Please note you must be an Australian citizen to be considered for these positions and thave he ability to undergo a National Police Check and Baseline Security Clearance.
The team is very supportive and friendly, there will be great development opportunities and you will join a program that does good things.
These roles are offered on a 12 months non-ongoing basis.
**The successful applicants will**:
- contribute to policy development and program management, including the ability to investigate and source key information to support decision-making.
- Ability to research and analyse policy or program issues and prepare advice and reports on relevant activities or milestones for presentation to Senior Executive and key stakeholders.
- Ability to communicate clearly and with confidence, verbally and in writing with stakeholders at different levels.
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to contribute to building and sustaining positive relationships with a wide range of both internal and external stakeholders, as part of a team.
- A commitment to continuous improvement, working in new ways and a demonstrated ability to lead, implement and respond positively to change.
**Essential skills/experience required**:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
- Administration/Project support experience
- Interest in starting your career in policy
- Ability to learn and adapt quickly
- A Bachelor's Degree and/or public policy or project management qualifications would be highly regarded
- Familiarity with government policy and processes will be highly regarded.
