**About Infectious Diseases/Microbiology**
Monash Infectious Diseases is a dynamic academic research unit that integrates the best evidence-base into routine patient care across all Monash Health Campuses. It provides infectious diseases care to a population of approximately 1.3 million, making it one of the largest services in Australia. Key clinical and research leadership areas include: antimicrobial treatment strategies, cardiac infections, infections in immunocompromised populations, HIV, travel-related infections, and mycobacterial infections; the unit also works closely with other specialty units at all Monash Health campuses.?The unit is involved in both investigator-initiated and industry clinical trials and studies.
**What you need**:
- Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Appropriate health professional tertiary qualifications
- Working with Children's Certificate
