SEL manages the corporate Hospitality Program for Rugby Australia and is seeking an experienced and driven hospitality leader to oversee the strategic planning, financial performance and operational delivery of the national program.
Role Summary
Based out of the RA offices in Moore Park, you will be the senior operational lead across all Wallabies and Wallaroos Domestic Test Matches, as well as the HSBC SVNS Series event in Australia, ensuring seamless execution and premium guest experiences across every fixture.
Responsibilities
* Lead end-to-end strategic planning & operational delivery of the Hospitality Program.
* Managing program budgets including forecasting, financial tracking & reconciliation.
* Acting as senior match-day operational lead across all venues.
* Overseeing suppliers including theming, staffing, AV, signage and furniture.
* Managing venue and catering relationships to maintain premium standards.
* Overseeing partnership integrations and contractual deliverables.
* Leading the Hospitality Operations Manager and Operations Coordinators.
* Managing staffing structures, workforce planning and performance management.
* Overseeing accreditation, ticketing coordination and event logistics.
* Delivering operational readiness updates and post-event reporting.
About You
* 5-7 years' experience in hospitality, major events or venue-based delivery roles.
* Proven experience managing complex, multi-venue programs.
* Strong financial and commercial acumen.
* Demonstrated leadership experience managing operational teams.
* Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Strong stakeholder management and communication capability.
* Ability to remain calm and solutions-focused under pressure.
* Knowledge of Rugby Union or the sports industry (desirable).
* Availability for domestic travel and weekend work.
