We seek a skilled professional to assume responsibility for our taxation compliance, financial reporting, and accounting needs.
About the Role
* Prepare and lodge Business Activity Statements, income tax returns, and other regulatory submissions
* Manage ATO correspondence and ensure all documentation meets legislative requirements
* Develop and maintain accurate financial records, reconcile accounts, and prepare management reports
* Oversee payroll, superannuation, and Single Touch Payroll (STP) lodgements
* Provide expert advice on tax planning and business strategy
* Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and ATO representatives
Requirements
* Relevant degree in Accounting or equivalent experience
* Minimum 5-10 years of accounting and tax experience
* Strong knowledge of Australian tax laws and regulations
* Proficiency in Xero and other relevant software
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
* Strong communication and organisational abilities
