This position involves preparing planning advice, development applications, and reports. You will work closely with clients, consultants, and authorities to achieve project outcomes while ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and statutory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Preparing development applications and planning advice
* Drafting reports, policy submissions, and responses to authority information requests
* Attending consultation sessions, client meetings, and site visits
* Providing recommendations on planning matters and supporting issue resolution
* Maintaining relationships with valued clients and stakeholders
* Monitoring relevant legislation to ensure compliance
Requirements
A minimum of 2 years' experience in town planning or a related field is required. Strong knowledge of development assessment and environmental planning legislation is essential. A degree in town planning or currently studying is preferred, along with technical understanding of statutory controls and relevant Acts.
