About The Role
As the Psychiatry Training Officer, you will provide high-level administrative support to medical education leaders and coordinate both prevocational and vocational psychiatry training programs. This role ensures training runs smoothly, records are well maintained, and trainees receive the guidance they need.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinating activities for psychiatry trainees and supporting program requirements.
- Providing skilled administrative support, including preparing reports, agendas, minutes, and correspondence.
- Maintaining databases, filing systems, and handling financial processes such as invoicing and reimbursements.
- Organising meetings, including teleconferences and videoconferences, and ensuring appropriate documentation is prepared.
- Building strong working relationships with supervisors, staff, and external training bodies.
About You
You will bring:
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise competing demands.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with confidence to liaise across all levels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other computer systems, with strong attention to detail and ability to pick up systems quickly.
- A customer-focused approach, including the ability to manage sensitive enquiries with professionalism.
- Willingness to learn and apply knowledge of psychiatry training processes and healthcare standards.
- A commitment to values of respect, inclusivity, and professionalism in all aspects of your work.
